Driven by this vision, Nana Adwoa Asantewaa I Okuapemhemea Nkosuohemea sponsored a significant donation of prenatal vitamins supported by La Constance to the Okuapemman East Orange Clinic located in Akropong Akuapem, Eastern Region, Ghana. Although she was away in the United States at the time, her commitment to the well-being of her people remained closer than ever.
Traditional Leaders Step In on Her Behalf To ensure the contribution was delivered with the highest respect and cultural dignity, a distinguished delegation of traditional leaders presented the items on her behalf.
The presentation team was led by the Royal Linguist Obarimah Yaw Sae and included:
Nana Nyarkowaa (Akyeampem Hene of Mamfe)
Representatives from the Advisory body to the Queen Mother Ankobia Ameni

Atokoansere Safohene Ofei Kwarteng
Odehye Kontokori
The traditional entourage was warmly received by the clinic’s staff. The Head Staff of the Clinic accepted the donation on behalf of the District Director and the Head Midwife, expressing immense gratitude for the timely intervention.
Boosting Maternal Wellness The core of the donation focused on critical prenatal care. The traditional leaders presented a large supply of multi-supplements for pregnant women, which will be distributed to regular prenatal patients at the clinic. These supplements are vital in preventing maternal anemia, supporting fetal development, and promoting overall health during pregnancy.
“A healthy mother means a healthy baby, and a healthy baby means a brighter future for Akropong Akuapem.”

The clinic staff and traditional leaders stood together proudly in front of the Okuapemman East Orange Clinic facility, symbolizing a powerful partnership between traditional leadership and modern healthcare.
